Improving Outcome in Tracheostomy: Our Study

Abstract

Tracheostomy is most valuable and life saving operation in which a surgical airway in the cervical trachea is created. Timing of tracheostomy is most important before anoxic damage results. The aim of study is to study various indications and management of the tracheostomy. If managed efficiently during postoperative period, morbidity and mortality can be reduced in the tracheostomy.
